The purpose of this study is to investigate injection timing affected particle size distribution a diesel engine fueled with biodiesel/diesel blends. biodiesel blending ratios include 7, 10 and 20%vol. experiments were operated at speed 1,500 rpm under 25, 50 75% loads two different (25.5 CAD BTDC 27.5 BTDC). effects addition on the changes in black smoke discussed. Results showed that standard for biodiesel, especially 20% blended fuel (B20) had significant effect increasing concentration thus emission. advanced B20 could improve combustion efficiency reduce small particles emission nucleation-mode (Dp 5 – nm) accumulation-mode 1,000 became smaller size, compared retarded timing.
